Complete Purified Water Bottling Line Process

(From Preform Injection Molding to End-of-Line Packaging)

This production line can be divided into five main systems:

1. Preform Production System
2. Preform Heating & Bottle Blowing System
3. Aseptic Filling System
4. Inspection, Labeling & Coding System
5. End-of-Line Packaging System

1. Preform Production System (Injection Molding, Optional if Preforms are Purchased)

PET Raw Material Preparation:
PET granules are dried and dehumidified (typically at 160–180°C)

Preform Injection Molding:
Equipment: Injection molding machine + dedicated mold

Process: Plasticizing PET → Injecting into mold cavity → Cooling → Ejecting the preform

Preform Cooling and Storage or Inline Transfer:
Cooled preforms are either stored or transferred directly to the bottle blowing system

2. Preform Heating & Bottle Blowing System

Preform Sorting and Feeding:
Automatic unscrambling → Preforms are transferred to the heating unit

Infrared Heating:
Infrared lamps evenly heat the preforms for blow molding

Bottle Blowing:
High-pressure air blows the preform into a mold → Shaped into a PET bottle → Cooling

Bottle Cooling & Inspection:
Inspect for appearance and neck defects

3. Aseptic Filling System (Monoblock 3-in-1 Machine)

Bottle Rinsing
Bottles are rinsed using sterile water or ozonated water to ensure hygiene

Water Filling (Isobaric or Vacuum Filling)
Precise volume control

Foam-free filling, consistent liquid level

Cap Sorting & Capping
Caps are automatically sorted and fed → Caps are tightened with torque control

4. Inspection, Labeling & Coding System

Cap Inspection
Checks for missing caps, crooked caps, or loose caps

Defective bottles are rejected automatically

Induction Foil Sealing (Optional)
For high-end products: aluminum foil seal via induction heating enhances shelf life

Labeling
Labeling options: shrink sleeve or self-adhesive label

Labels are automatically positioned and applied

Inkjet or Laser Coding
Prints manufacturing date, batch number, and expiration date

5. End-of-Line Packaging System

Bottle Grouping
Bottles are automatically arranged in sets (e.g., 3×4, 4×6 layout)

Packaging Options:
a. Film Wrapping
Bottles are wrapped in PE shrink film → Heated shrink tunnel forms a tight pack

b. Cartoning
Automatic carton erector → Bottle loading → Carton sealing → Strapping

Palletizing and Storage
Robotic palletizer stacks finished packs/cartons onto pallets

Summary Process Flow (Simplified)

PET → Preform Injection → Preform Heating → Bottle Blowing → Rinsing → Filling → Capping→ Inspection → Labeling → Coding → Packaging → Palletizing → Storage
